Disney Renaissance Explained

The Disney Renaissance lasted from 1989-1999, featuring the movies The Little Mermaid (1989), The Rescuers Down Under (1990), Beauty and the Beast (1991), Aladdin (1992), The Lion King (1994), Pocahontas (1995), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Hercules (1997), Mulan (1998), and Tarzan (1999). These movies revitalized a dying Disney, with well-animated and heartfelt movies. All of them were musicals, and all of them were critical and box-office successes. These movies are what I grew up with, and what countless other people also grew up with. I highly suggest any of these movies to the few people who haven't seen them.
